A SCHOOLBOY has been working hard baking and delivering cakes to key workers and others in the community.
Alfy Low, 13, has delivered cakes to hospital staff, police, firemen, and postal workers, to name a few.
Alfy, from Canvey, who also plays for the U13 Canvey Rugby Union Club, set up a Go Fund Me page to raise funds for the NHS and raised £1,165 in just seven days.
His initial target was £500.
Alfy’s mum, Danielle Low, said: “I am so proud of my Alfy.
“Teenagers get so much negativity, it’s good to see that he is doing something so thoughtful.
“More cakes went out on VE Day – Alfy made 160 cup cakes and delivered 30 lemon surprise cakes, all his own recipes.”
