IT sounds as though the Government is going to keep the over 70s in lockdown for longer than the rest of the population.
If they want to get the economy going, they are missing a trick here.
The people to get the economy going are the people least affected by the virus, ie the pensioners.
We are the only sector of the population who have the spending power to boost the economy.
On the other hand, who wants to go out when you can’t visit a pub, a coffee shop, a restaurant, a garden centre, a cinema, or any other venue which one would normally attend!
Not me for one.
