A Stow-on-the-Wold man has admitted sexually assaulting a young girl and distributing indecent photographs and videos that he took of her.

The man, who cannot be named to protect the identity of the victim, pleaded guilty at Gloucester Crown Court to two charges of sexual assault of a girl under the age of 13 between April 2017 and June last year.

A shoplifter who stole £200 worth of meat from a Cirencester supermarket and breached a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) twice has been handed a suspended sentence.

Christopher Baker, 44, of Mount Close, Cirencester, pleaded guilty to theft and two breaches of a CBO when he appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates Court via video link on May 8.
