There are only a few days left to enter The Cotswold Challenge and be in with a chance to win some serious money.

Teenagers in Years 11, 12 and 13 who should have been taking GCSEs or A-Levels at school or college and who live or study within a 25 mile radius of Cirencester, have until 9pm on Monday, June 1, to submit their entries.

There are three categories: Art & Design, Creative Writing and Innovation & Entrepreneurial Thinking, and eligible teenagers are being invited to enter their own paintings, drawings, photos, models, stories, poems, business ideas or inventions to win £500, £300, £150, £50 in each of the three categories.

They can enter as many times as they like and in any or all of the categories.

“We have had nearly 200 entries across the three categories” said one of the organisers, Fairford & Lechlade Business Club founder, Chris Roberts. “We would particularly welcome more entries in the Innovation & Entrepreneurial Thinking category as this has the least number of entries.

“So anyone entering this category that has a great idea for the latest video game, app, cyber-security solution or disruptive business idea like Uber or Just Eat stands more of a chance of winning.”

Young people taking part must live or study in the relevant area and be in Years 11, 12 or 13.

For those under the age of 18, parental or guardian permission is necessary in order to participate.

Entries can be submitted at www.thecotswoldchallenge.com before 9pm on Monday, June 1.
