A MOTHER is trying to find three Good Samaritans who helped her daughter after she fell in some woods and broke her leg.

Franczest Mateo’s 13-year-old daughter Amy fell while walking with her mum and their two dogs in Pope’s Wood, Painswick on May 14.

“We were almost at the edge of the woods as I could see the low lying villages,” said Franczest.

“There were two slopes and Amy decided to go on the other slope.

“In a split second, I heard her crying and screaming saying she broke her leg.”

Now Franczest and Amy really want to find the three people who helped during the incident.

“One man offered to stay at the gate of Pope’s Woods to wait for the ambulance to direct them to where we were in the middle of the woods, and he waited and hour and a half,” said Franczest.

“This guy also stayed on to assist with the first responders until more back up arrived, and he also showed the paramedics the best way on how to get my daughter out of where we were stuck as my Amy was unable to stand up at the time or move due to severity of her pain.”

Two cyclists then turned up and also helped Amy.

She said they gave their water to Franczest’s two dogs who were starting to get distressed and dehydrated.

“The other guy gave some of his squash to my daughter as she was so thirsty,” said Franczest, who lives in Abbeydale. They stayed for a while to reassure our dogs while I was assisting my daughter with some drink to keep her hydrated.”
