Lucy, a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and auntie, died peacefully on May 27 with her family around her, aged 96 years.

Ray Humphreys, aged 65 of Stonehouse, passed away peacefully but suddenly at home on June 3, 2020 with his loving family by his side.

Geoffrey Charles Evans sadly passed away on the May 16, 2020.

Brenda Spyer formerly of Minchinhampton, died peacefully on June 7 at her home in Cainscross, aged 90 years.

Myra Peters died in Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on May 18, 2020 from pneumonia after surviving Covid-19.

After a distinguished career as a teacher of mathematics in London comprehensive schools Myra had lived in Stonehouse since 1999 and had become a member of several local history groups in Gloucestershire before she helped to form the Stonehouse History Group.

At the same time she was editorial assistant and business manager for The Woodcock Press, Stonehouse, which published, among other Gloucestershire titles. Until her death she was a member of Stroud U3A and Stroud WEA, where in study terms she was the second oldest member.

Captain John William Rogers of Stroud sadly passed away at home on Monday June 1, 2020, aged 80 years.
