A STROUD man has admitted assaulting a police officer.
Jonathon Waldron, 30, of Uplands, Stroud, pleaded guilty to assaulting an officer in Stonehouse on May 18.
At a hearing at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on June 16 he also admitted a charge of being drunk and disorderly on the same date.
He was made the subject of a community order and given a curfew requirement, between 9pm and 7am, for eight weeks, with electronic monitoring.
He was also ordered to pay compensation of £50; a surcharge to fund victim services of £90, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
