A catering business in Nailsworth has seen its new initiative prove a hit during the lockdown months.
Erin Baker, who runs the Natural Cookery School, a vegan cookery school and catering business, closed its doors in March due to the pandemic.
To adapt, Erin launched Baker's Bites, offering weekly meat free Monday takeaway meals with collection at the cookery school in Nailsworth and at the Crown and Sceptre in Stroud on alternating weeks.
Erin said: "I have collaborated with the Crown and Sceptre for over seven years offering monthly meat free Mondays to dine in and decided this was a way to weather the storm.
"It has been an absolute success, averaging about 65 meals a week in each location. Over 700 meals have been served since I launched on April 27.
"The meals are being embraced by all - veggies, vegans and omnivores. Good, healthy food that is full of flavour, beautifully presented and almost your five a day in one go."
The menus have a different theme each week and are based on the recipes Erin teaches at her cookery school.
She uses seasonal ingredients combined with world foods.
She said: "All of the dishes are decorated with homegrown edible flower, which is a passion of mine. I have researched packaging extensively to go along with the ethos of my business and am using all biodegradable containers that are made from plants and are compostable and recyclable.
"I am also offering celebration cakes and bespoke dinner parties for delivery."
