Chedworth news by David Broad
CHEAP Street by the Old Village Stores will be closed on Tuesday between 8am and 5pm while the old railway bridge has a structural examination.
It last carried trains in 1961 and the ironwork was removed in 1963.
CHEDWORTH Village Hall is appealing for supporters to keep the hall alive.
The hall has been losing on average over £1,500 per annum over the past 13 years according to a flyer recently published and circulated around the village.
The kitchen needs stripping out and refurbishing at a cost of £15,000.
The hall committee is now down to only seven members, and is asking residents to help maintain the building, car park and grounds and for donations to keep the hall running.
THE Seven Tuns is reopening on Saturday after an agonisingly long break.
