CATTLE Country Farm Park in Berkeley is reopening today.

This follows the Government’s announcement of the easing of lockdown restrictions on some sections of the leisure industry.

The farm park’s outdoor areas will be the first part of the site to reopen.

A spokeswoman for Cattle Country said: “Our outdoor areas will be the first to reopen including our castle, adventure playground, beach barn, farm trails, animal experience barn and mini golf as well as our new cafe GRAZE which will be serving delicious locally-sourced food.

“To begin with, Cattle Country will be open from Wednesday to Sunday each week and you will be able to book either a morning or afternoon visit.

“All tickets must be booked online, this includes season ticket holders.

“To reflect the shorter opening hours and number of activities that we are currently able to offer, and cover the daily running costs of the park, we are reducing our opening entry prices too.

“Over the coming weeks we will continue to review our opening times, prices, days and activities and will open outdoor and indoor play equipment as soon as we can, in line with Government guidelines.”

In order to protect staff and visitors, a number of changes have been made to the way the attraction operates.

These include limiting the capacity for each booked session so that visitors can maintain a safe distance from each other and queues are less likely to form.

All tickets need to be booked online and Cattle Country is now a ‘cashless’ venue, with contactless payments preferred.

The toilets, cafe and touch points will be cleaned throughout the day with a deep clean taking place in the middle of the day between morning and afternoon sessions.

Hand sanitising stations have been installed throughout the park, screens have been installed at the counters, and picnic and dining tables have been placed at least two metres apart.

Play equipment will be reopened as soon as possible, in line with Government guidelines.
