The car's window was smashed during the incident
A woman's handbag and shopping items were stolen yesterday after her car was broken into in South Cerney.
Police were called to the incident yesterday afternoon after someone had broken into the victim's grey Vauxhall Corsa, which was parked by a fishing lake in Spine Road East, at some point between 2.30pm and 3.15pm.
The woman's handbag (including the contents) and a number of shopping bags were stolen.
Officers are asking anyone who witnessed this taking place or has information to call 101 quoting incident 328 of July 6.
