THE Emmaus charity shop in Stroud shop reopened today.

The popular store, on London Road, will be open for the time being on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays only, from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

Donations of items in good saleable condition will be accepted on Thursdays only. We're excited to welcome all our Stroud supporters back!

A spokesman for the charity said: "Due to the current restrictions and the limitations in the shop we will only be able to accept donations on the Thursdays.

"We sincerely hope to be able to increase this offer soon but we are prioritising safety."

The Emmaus shop in Nailsworth reopened last month.

Emmaus Gloucestershire offers support for those living in homeless situations and aims to provide a home for as long as it's needed and meaningful work for people who have experienced homelessness.
