STROUD museum's walled garden, in Stratford Park is reopening to the general public on Saturday 11 July – and it's officially Good to Go!

The Visit England ‘Good to Go’ mark shows that the Museum in the Park conforms to the latest Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, with a recognised process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

As a result, daily admissions are being strictly limited to pre-booked timed appointments. This means visitors will need to book online in advance, specifying the date and time you intend to visit.

The indoor areas of the Museum remain closed for the time being. Staff are working hard on ensuring these are also Covid-Secure.

Cllr Mattie Ross, Chair of Stroud District Council’s Community Services & Licensing Committee said: “We are looking forward to safely welcoming back visitors to the walled garden as we phase the Museum in the Park’s re-opening.

“We trust people will very much enjoy the opportunity to visit such a relaxing and special place.”
