CYCLISTS in Cirencester and surrounding villages are being urged to keep their bikes secure by local police following a number of thefts on Monday.
Police received four reports of push bikes being stolen yesterday.
One bike was stolen from Queens Street in Cirencester, one was stolen from Wildmoor Lock, South Cerney, with two more stolen from Windrush Lake, also in South Cerney.
Officers are reminding cyclists to secure their bikes if leaving them in rural areas.
Anyone with any further information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 48 of July 13.
