Yate Town have made a exciting new signing in their bid to retain their position in the Southern Premier League
The Bluebells announced their latest signing, Stuart Fleetwood, who will join new manager Paul Michael on the coaching staff.
Fleetwood will also join the team on the pitch as an experienced striker and joins Yate town from Swindon Supermarine where he has played since 2018.
Fleetwood, 34, has had career highlights at Championship club Luton Town as well as League 2 club Forest Green Rovers.
New manager Paul Michael was delighted with his first signing for Lodge Road, he said:
"I'm delighted to announce that Stuart Fleetwood will be joining the management team as First Team Player - Coach.
"Fleetwood has a wealth of experience in the game and will begin to make steps into leadership with us, I'm delighted to have him on board, I can't wait to work with him, he will be a tremendous asset on and off the pitch."
Stuart added:
"I’m excited to join Paul and Andrew as a player and First team coach.
"My playing career still has some mileage left in it, plus I get the chance to pass on my experiences and knowledge to the staff and players.
"I want to be successful and this is a great club to start my career as a coach but also to continue playing for a few more seasons to come!
"I’m eager to get going and look forward to meeting everyone very soon.”
