A MAN found in possession of a knife in Leonard Stanley has been handed a suspended prison sentence.
Stephen Carden, 54, of Sandford Close, pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates Court on July 17.
Magistrates heard how Carden had a 'small knife' without good reason or lawful authority in his possession on Brockley Road, Kings Stanley on March 13.
Carden was sentenced to three months in jail suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay costs of £162.
