On Wednesday, July 29, 2020, Tetbury said farewell and thank you to one of her favourite sons Fran Eddolls, writes Kevin Painter.
The streets were lined with family, friends and even people who’d never had the honour of meeting him.
The whole town was touched by the bravery of this inspirational young man, young husband, young father.
It is indeed a tragedy to lose such a good and noble young man.
The day was indeed a fitting tribute and further testimony to his love and enjoyment of life and his amazing capacity to inspire, and his determination to raise funds for various charities through his many cycling challenges.
Our thoughts will be with his family, and of course his wife Carina and their very young children Holly, aged four, and two-year-old Archie, his greatest legacy.
Thank you Fran we are all the poorer for your passing.
