THE Ragged Cot Inn has officially reopened its doors with two new pub landlords.

Jason Shadlock and Kieren Bodill now lease the building from Marston’s.

Jason and Kieren have worked alongside their head chef, Rory Emmerson, to create a brand-new menu with locally sourced produce. Showcasing a modern take on pub classics, meal options are served seven days a week.

As a celebration of the pub reopening, Jason and Kieren have continued a similar offer to the Government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme throughout September.

During the week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, customers will be able to receive a 50% discount, up to £10 per person, when visiting the Ragged Cot.

Jason said: “The Ragged Cot is a new opportunity for Kieren and me and something we are very excited for. We have brought a new style of food to the pub and are working with local businesses in Stroud and the surrounding area in order to receive local produce. We have some great ideas planned for the pub and look forward to the future.”

As well as dining and outdoor seating areas, which support social distancing, the Ragged Cot also has nine hotel rooms available on site.

Whilst maintaining the traditional aesthetics of the Ragged Cot, but providing a fresh contemporary design, Jason and Kieren are currently updating all the rooms.

Offering double bedrooms and larger, boutique style rooms, Jason and Kieran said the accommodation will fit any occasion or need from a romantic weekend away or local staycation.
