M4 eastbound closed from J15 to J14 for resurfacing works
MOTORISTS travelling on the M4 eastbound this weekend should be aware that the motorway is closed eastbound from J15 to J14 for resurfacing works.
There are currently approximately 3.5 miles of congestion on the approach which is likely to add 45 - 60 minutes to the usual travel times.
A spokesman for Highways England said: "The road is closed all weekend due to the amount of defects in the area.
"A large section is being resurfaced and to do this we are removing 400mm of road. This is then being replaced in layers which have to cool before the next layer is put on top."
