After many months of inactivity due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Octopus Drama Group has a new project on the go.
Social distancing has put a stop to the group's onstage productions for the time being so, in conjunction with Thornbury Radio, they will be producing a radio play.
This topical comedy has been written and directed especially for Octopus by Peta Maurice.
The ‘C’ Word covers a subject we have all become familiar with over the last six months, lockdown - and the endless Zoom meetings, cake baking and online shopping we have become accustomed to.
Tune in to Thornbury Radio on October 11 at 8pm or October 15th (time to be announced) to hear about the history of the group as they celebrate their 50th year, and then settle down to listen to The ‘C’ Word.
Octopus are hoping to get back on stage at Christ the King Church Hall for a production in June 2021.
