A Stonehouse motorcyclist is seeking financial support to carry on racing, after picking up a hat-trick of podium finishes last time out.
Scott McGuire did his first race with North Gloucester Road Racing club (NGRRC) on board his CBR 600 last year, getting the 'racing bug' after two top five finishes at Cadwell Park.
Last month he achieved three podium finishes in the PI 700 class at Castle Combe. Scott finished 2nd in the first two races before batting back through the field after a poor start to finish 3rd in the third.
Scott said: "I really want to enter the championship next year with a good chance of winning races but for this happen I need financial help.
"Tyres, fuel, engine oil, safety gear and even cleaning products all cost a lot of money but are vital for competitive racing.
"I’m hoping to get some financial support in exchange for business advertising on the bike."
Anyone interested in advertising should contact Scott on Facebook.
