A woman from Eastcombe celebrated her 100th birthday last week.
Ivy Roberts, a much loved, well known and respected long-term resident of Eastcombe celebrated her landmark day on October 20.
Ms Roberts was able to celebrate over the weekend with members of her family and the Eastcombe Friday Club were proud and delighted to present her with a hamper.
She said the highlight of the occasion was the arrival of the postman to deliver her special card from the Queen. Ivy, together with her daughter who is living with her, still enjoys being active and walking her little dog daily.
