A university graduate from Painswick has started a company selling the best beer the Cotswolds has to offer.

Quinn Leatherbarrow-Stokes, a former Marling student, has founded Qwerty Beer Box with his friend Nikolaus Porsch.

The Best of the Cotswold box features eight craft beers from the likes of Stroud Brewery and Severn Brewing, along with tasting notes and information about the breweries featured .

Quinn has previously worked with Stroud Brewery, helping them to grow their online presence as part of the Amazon Campus Challenge he competed in while at the University of Exeter.

After finishing the final year of his business and management degree in May, and realising the threat breweries faced as a result of the lockdown, Quinn launched his new company.

Having initially cycled round the Cotswolds offering beers to friends and family, boxes have now been sent as far as Belfast and the Shetland Islands.

"It's been an amazing experience," said Quinn.

"I love craft beer. It's great to help these breweries in a time when they need all the help they can get."

As well as Best of the Cotswolds there are now boxes available from Bristol and Devon.
