We've been asking our readers if they have seen any spirits or have ever experienced any paranormal activity.

Here's what you said:

Liz: "The building in Bristol where I worked had a ghost. It was down Baldwin Street and 'George' haunted the basement where some of my surplus stores were kept.

"Often when I was collecting items from there I would be aware of George passing by me and he would open the doors for me if my hands were full.

"I never ever felt threatened by him and I know previous occupiers of the building had been aware of him too.

"The basement of the building was huge with several rooms and in one was a huge old model railway layout and often the rolling stock would be moving although there was nobody else down there."

Gillie: "I had one in my flat in Bristol. I thought I was seeing things until the couple in the basement flat told me about her when I hadn't said a thing to them.

"An old lady in a long grey frock with a chatelaine of keys - I think she must have been the housekeeper when it was a single house. My cat saw her first."

Mal: "We used to have a 16th century hotel and in one room, after you made the bed, an indentation of something lying down was always there even if you changed the duvets."

Joy: "We heard a growling noise at the Ancient Ram inn in Wotton. I looked at my pictures the other day and there was a dog in the same room. I also got hit in the back when doing a Ouji board."

Simon said: "On two occasions at my old house in Cashes Green I heard a horse walking down the driveway at the front of the house, but each time there was nothing there."

Dave Frost has captured some spooky pictures from the Ancient Ram inn, as well as from Woodchester Mansion and Gloucester prison which can be seen above.
