THE team from Stroud’s popular hair salon Harriet’s Organic have moved to a brand new salon and are going by a brand new name.

The new 'Medulla' salon has relocated from the High Street to Five Valleys shopping centre.

And though the salon has a new look and name and much more space to expand, owner Harriet Cawkwell’s commitment to “health first” haircare will still be the cornerstone of the business.

With four stylists on her books, Harriet is also looking to grow and expand the team and the services Medulla offer in their new premises.

The new salon's design has been influenced by the warm and welcoming homely environment that Harriet and her team are well known for in Stroud.

There is also more space for customers as well, and some extra treatments are on offer.

Harriet said: “All our colour products are free of the harsh, damaging ingredients you find in conventional salon colour, meaning they have minimal impact on the health of your hair.

Harriet said: “One of the reasons I started the business was because myself and other members of my family have allergies and sensitivities to many of the modern products now commonly used, so it was really important to me to find a more natural and organic range of products.

“We’re really excited about the new salon and to be part of the new Five Valleys centre.

"We’re looking forward to welcoming our existing customers and lots of new customers to Medulla.”

Centre Manager at Five Valleys Dionne Moore said: “Harriet and her team have a great reputation in Stroud and we’re so pleased that she has chosen Five Valleys as the location for the new Medulla salon.

“It is such an exciting time for the centre and the transformation is really taking shape now.”
