Storm Darcy hit Stroud last week, bringing with it some of the iciest conditions on record.
The canal was frozen, icicles were hanging from the trees and the gritters were out in force across the district.
The most snow we saw was in flutters, but that didn't stop Stroud photographers capturing some wonderful wintery pictures of the town at its coldest last week.
Here are our ten favourite photographs.
These icicles in Brimscombe were attracting a lot of attention online, and Aaron Herring caught this perfectly timed snap of the cold culprits responsible.
Mark Sweeting took this image of a group of icicles hanging over a stream.
Over in Minchinhampton, Jo Cope photographed a much more solitary icicle hanging from a drain pipe. Sources say it didn't like the drama that came with hanging out at the stream with the others.
Richard Davies snapped a picture of this icy hazard on Rodborough Common. Careful where you step Richard!
This fabulous frosty flower was photographed by Su Avarru.
Rene Cason shot this ivy heart trapped inside ice on Valentines Day

Mark Sweeting took a close up shot of these leaves trapped in ice hanging above the water
Another photo of Rene Cason's, this time showing tens of icicles forming on a hedge
