A family had a remarkable escape after an out of control car missed them by a matter of inches.

They were driving from Cirencester to Tetbury on the A433 near Culkerton shortly before 6.30pm yesterday when a blue Peugeot rolled just past them.

The driver of the Peugeot, a man from Dorset, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving without a licence, driving whilst unfit through drink/drugs, and failing to provide a specimen and remains in police custody this morning.
