Stroud officers are continuing patrols following reports of suspicious men in Rodborough and the canal area.

Police received a number of reports between mid-February and late March, but no more incidents have been reported since then.

Two men have been described as acting suspiciously.

One, believed to be 25 to 35-years-old with ginger or blond hair, was reported to have hidden in bushes in Rodborough Common and the canal area and paid particular interest to women walking past.

Another man, described as white, red-faced, 50 to 60-years-old, bald and wearing dark clothing, was seen behaving strangely near a woman and her children on the canal path as they headed towards the Queen Elizabeth II park on March 23.

Police are asking anyone who witnesses any suspicious behaviour to contact them.
