STROUD actor Patrick Baladi returned to the new series of Line of Duty as corrupt lawyer Jimmy Lakewell.
Patrick was last seen on the show back in series four when he was sent to prison after AC-12 had uncovered his role in a major cover-up.
Many fans of the show weren't surprised to see him, having thought they'd recognised his voice on the audio file recovered from Gail Vella’s laptop in episode two.
Sadly it was only a brief reappearance, with Lakewell brutally murdered in Sunday night's episode.
Line of Duty continues on Sundays at 9pm on BBC One.
The actor, who also starred in The Office, moved to Chalford several years ago after meeting his wife at a party held by Keith Allen and Tamzin Malleson.
