Bank holiday Monday could turn into a bit of a damp squib in Gloucestershire.

The recent changeable weather, hail fell in parts of the county this morning, is set to continue.

While Saturday and Sunday should largely stay dry, heavy rain is forecast for Monday afternoon. Temperatures across the weekend will not be noticeably warmer than in recent days.

Gusts above 40mph are also forecast on Monday evening.

Saturday: Patchy cloud, sunny spells and scattered showers through the day. These showers turning heavy at times. Turning dry and frosty again into the night. Feeling cold throughout, despite light winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday: Sunshine and showers on Sunday. Heavy rain then arrives from the west Monday afternoon, bringing strong winds and coastal gales. Sunshine and showers return Tuesday, and remaining windy. Less cold.
