A car and a caravan were destroyed in a fire in Tytherington in the early hours of this morning (Thursday).
Firefighters were called just before 12.30am to reports of a caravan fire on Woodlands Road.
On arrival, crews from Thornbury, Patchway and Southmead found a fire involving a caravan and a car.
Firefighters used two high pressure hose reels, one 45mm jet, foam and thermal imaging cameras to extinguish the blaze. Two firefighters wore breathing apparatus.
After a fire investigation, the cause of the fire has been confirmed as accidental ignition.
It was a busy night for Thornbury's firefighters, who an hour earlier had been called to reports of fire on Castle Street.
On arrival, crews from Thornbury found a small fire involved garden waste on open ground.
Firefighters used one high pressure hose reel, one drag fork and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. Crews continued to dampen down the ground with one 45mm hose reel.
The cause is thought to be accidental.
Nobody was injured in either incident.
