Along with county council and district council elections, there have also been a number of town and parish council elections.
The majority of these were uncontested, as the number of candidates was equal to or less than the number of seats available.
Where there was a contested election, the results are below. Full details of the uncontested elections are available on the Stroud District Council website.
Stroud Town Council (Central ward)
Green party candidates Kevin Cranston, Kate Crews and Stella Parkes were elected.
Painswick Parish Council (Painswick ward)
Edward Boulton, James Cross, Ann Daniels, Rob Lewis, Ian Massey, Rosie Nash and Abigail Smith were elected.
Whiteshill and Ruscombe Parish Council
Christopher Brian, Rebeccas Charley, Peter Hood, Robert Kelly, Ian Nie, Iain Roberts, Steve Tomkins, Karon Vizar-Beard and Nicola Webster were elected.
Stonehouse Town Council
Rachel Armstrong, Leigh Binns, Chris Brine (Labour), John Callinan, Michael Davis, Mick Gibbons (Labour), Carol Kambites (Green), Kevin Parsons, Gary Powell (Labour), Val Randell (Labour), Pamela Swain, Keith Terry (Labour) and David Thorpe were elected.
