Police are appealing for witnesses after a man aged in his 60s was pushed over in Cheltenham last week.

On Tuesday (1 June) between 5pm and 5.30pm down the lane off Glebe Farm Court leading to Caernarvon Road, Hatherley a group of five or six boys pushed a man over and stole a bottle of brandy from him.

Passers-by came to assist the man who suffered cuts and grazes and the group of boys left back down the alley toward the park.

The youths were described as being white and aged around 16 to 18-years-old.

One of the boys was described as being of a stocky build, tall, with short light hair that was cut shorter on the sides and long and curly on the top.
