STROUD'S new Lidl supermarket will be ready to welcome customers this winter.
And the store - which is located on the former Stroud Metal Company site in Dudbridge - will be staffed by 30 employees.
A Lidl spokesman said: "We can confirm that construction of our new Lidl store in Stroud is well underway and is due to open this winter.
"Recruitment for the new store has also commenced and we would encourage anyone interested in applying to keep an eye out for vacancies on our career’s website.
"We look forward to sharing more information with the local community in due course."
The completed Lidl store will cover 2206sq metres and have 132 parking spaces.
