AFTER a year’s delay, stand-up comedian Seann Walsh is back on tour with his show Back From The Bed - and he is bringing it to Stroud this evening (Thursday).

The observational comic, who has appeared on the likes of Live At The Apollo, 8 Out of 10 Cats and The Jonathan Ross Show, will take to the Sub Rooms stage tonight from 8pm.

Seann wanted to be a stand-up comedian from the age of 10.

In this show, he tells us how he got here, from growing up in Brighton to gathering a slew of TV credits and glowing reviews, to becoming a tabloid villain.

The 35-year-old has been described as “unquestionably the best observational comic of his generation” by The Guardian and “one of the most entertaining observational comics on the block” by The Independent.

He made headlines back in 2018 when he was pictured kissing his married Strictly Come Dancing dance partner, Katya Jones, while he was himself in a relationship, and has said he suffered panic attacks following the backlash.

But while admitting his passion for comedy fell away in the wake of the controversy, Seann is back on form with Back from the Bed.
