HOBBYCRAFT has announced its new shop at Cirencester Retail Park will open on Wednesday, October 13.

The store will sell a range of crafting products catering for beginners, experts, kids, crafters and party planners alike.

To celebrate the launch, there will be a grand opening event on Saturday, October 16 at 9am, with product offers and activities, including free goody bags to the first 100 customers.

The new store brings 18 new jobs to the area, and is currently searching for the best crafting experts to inspire customers to get creative to fill the roles.

Hobbycraft was voted the fourth Best Big Company to work for in the UK and the third Best Retail Company to work for in the UK, by Best Companies in May 2021.

Store Manager, Malcolm Davis said: “After a tough year for many, we are really looking forward to opening the doors to our Cirencester store and sharing our passion for arts and crafts with the local community.”

The new Hobbycraft colleagues will be on hand to provide their expertise and encourage locals to master a new craft or refine a long-time favourite, with some of the team including:

The Cirencester store will open in line with government Covid guidelines, with social distancing and extensive safety measures in place.

As well as offering customers a wide range of crafting products, it will also have a dedicated custom crafting area.

The space is designed to inspire shoppers as well as encourage them to try out products and crafting techniques.
