THESE stunning images of a Spitfire were captured by South Cerney woman Fi Keates who happened upon the plane while walking her dog.
The Spitfire was doing a flypast to celebrate the 100th birthday of Squadron Leader Eric Downs, MBE. and Fi was "in the right place at the right time."
Fi Said: "I was just extremely lucky to be in the right place at the right time on Friday when it flew right over my head. A truly magical moment!!
"I’m so glad that my dog wanted to go for an evening walk….. talk about right place, right time… it was amazing to witness this Spitfire do a flypast to honour the 100th Birthday of a gentleman who lives in the village. — feeling honoured in South Cerney, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom."
She shared the pictures on Gloucestershire Camera Club's page.
