STROUD firefighters raised hundreds of pounds at a charity car wash as drivers made donations to get their cars cleaned.
On Saturday, crews at Paganhill fire station scrubbed and polished cars from 9.30am to 1pm to raise funds for Rush Skate Park and the Fire Fighters’ Charity.
And after a morning of getting Stroud's cars gleaming, the crew were delighted to find they had raised £932.
The Firefighters Charity helps the mental, physical and social wellbeing needs of retired and serving firefighters.
