THE Five Valleys shopping centre's newest market vendor, The Vine Shop, is now open.
The Vine Shop is owned and run by trained sommelier David Almeida.
David aims to create an inclusive wine experience that allows for customers to be fully immersed in the world of wine, whether they are experts or novices.
A sommelier with 11 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, David has worked predominantly in Michelin star restaurants including Whatley Manor.
His passion for wine blossomed early in his career and he now takes his next step joining the line up of artisan businesses in the Five Valleys indoor market.
The Vine Shop offers a wide mix of old and new world wines, championing local and international wineries including vinos from Armenia.
In addition, the shop features independent producers specialising in small scale production, which can’t be found in most supermarkets.
Regular wine tasting events will also be on offer.
David said “I am so excited to be opening The Vine Shop in Five Valleys indoor market.
"It’s such an exciting venture and an amazing way to showcase our carefully selected range of wines."
