A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

SCOTT ANTHONY SPRUCE, 48, of Pendoylan Close, Barry, was jailed for 25 weeks after he admitted being in breach of a restraining order and a suspended jail sentence.

He was ordered to pay £213 in costs and a surcharge after his release from prison.

TOM DOWNEY, 26, of Romilly Park Road, Barry, was banned from driving for six months after he failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

He was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

DONNA JAMES, 40, of Princes Street, Barry, was banned from driving for six months after she failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

She was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

KEVIN GAMBLE, 41, of no fixed abode, was ordered to pay £239 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for possession of amphetamine in Vere Street, Barry, on October 4.

MONTY SMITH BARRY LTD, Sully Moors Road, Sully, were ordered to pay £1,210 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after they failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle.

JEFFREY GUY, 59, of Holton Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £209 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after he admitted assault by beating on Main Street on August 16.
