A STROUD man has been released on police bail after a girl was kissed and groped in woods by a stranger.
He was released to allow further enquiries to take place and is due to be returning for bail in early December.
The alleged incident occurred a few weeks ago on Wotton Hill and the police confirmed in a tweet that they were investigating the report.

A man was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.
Wotton Hill is on the edge of the Cotswolds Hills and is just outside Wotton-under-Edge.
It is in the Cotswolds Area of Natural Beauty and is owned by the National Trust.
