A Nailsworth man has been found guilty of an act of outraging public decency.
Simon Clifford Jones, of Nympsfield Road, masturbated near to a public footpath in Stroud on September 9, 2020.
The 40-year-old denied the offence but was found guilty at Cirencester Magistrates Court on December 2.
According to the court register, he was remanded on unconditional bail to allow a pre-sentence report to be prepared and will appear at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on February 4.
The incident happened in 2020 according to court records and may have been delayed due to issues arrising from the pandemic.
