AN INCREASE in vehicle crime in Stroud has prompted police to issue a warning to residents.
Stroud Police have sent out a Neighbourhood Alert, naming Summer Street, Summer Crescent, Hilltop Close, Middle Street as amongst the targeted areas.
The force said there had been an increase in crime involving parked cars and vans over the last few months, including criminal damage and entry into unsecured vehicles.
They urged people to always lock their cars and make sure no valuables are on display.
