PEDESTRIANS in Stroud are advised to avoid the Bath Street entrance to Five Valleys Shopping Centre this week, as the next stage in development for the new medical centre begins.

The disruption will start on Monday February 21 and last until Friday February 25. Throughout this period Five Valleys Shopping Centre and the linked multi-story car park will remain open as usual.

Jessica Derham, Centre Manager at Five Valleys, said: “The next stage of development will include the installation of steel walls and stairs, which is why we’re advising customers to avoid our Bath Street entrance.”

Pedestrians can still access the shopping centre from the Kings Street entrances and the multi-storey car park.

Jessica added: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will ensure that the work is carried out efficiently with as little disruption as possible for visitors.

“The shopping centre and all our events will continue as normal.”
