THE LADBROKES building in the Stroud town centre was auctioned this week, coming soon after the betting shop closed.

The auction was undertaken by London based company Barnett Ross last week.

Lot 17 was the former Ladbrokes building in Gloucester Street, Stroud.

It sold for £232,000.

The property is described as a mid terrace building comprising a ground floor shop with separate front access to offices planned on the first and second floors.

There may be potential to convert the first and second floor offices to residential use, subject to obtaining the necessary consents.

First Floor Offices are four rooms of approximately 942 sq ft including WC.

Second Floor Offices are the same.
