THE night market at the Five Valleys shopping centre in Stroud will extend its closing time after its successful return.

The market, which features a mix of food, drink and music, will be closing at the later time of 9pm to accommodate the increasing footfall and trade.

Molly Wise, market and events manager at Five Valleys said: “The feedback we received from customers was that they loved the night market, but wanted it to last longer.

"It’s fast becoming a must-visit spot on Stroud’s nightlife scene, so we were delighted to oblige.

“We thought it would be a great idea to begin extending the hours from the 1st April so people can enjoy the lighter nights with us at Five Valleys night market.”

New entertainment is also being introduced to the night market. This includes a monthly quiz, taking place every fourth Friday of the month.

Molly added: “Make sure to come down and enjoy plenty of entertainment, food and drink.”

The next night market (9th April) will welcome back popular singer Tom Clissold.

Customers coming to the night market will also not need to worry about parking with the centre’s updated system. Evening parking from 5pm until midnight is 50p, and overnight parking from 5pm - 8am is £1.50.
