Two moped riders chased a BMW through oncoming traffic before attacking it with an angle grinder, according to police.
The offenders, both men, made other cars swerve onto curbs as they raced towards the victim’s car, pelting it with stones, in Lower Earley, Whitley and Shinfield.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occurred at 4.40pm on May 14.

The white BMW was damaged by the angle grinder and its rear windscreen damaged by the stones.
The offenders are described as two men in their late teens to early 20s, dressed in dark clothing and wearing crash helmets.

One of the men was dressed in a dark top and grey jogging bottoms. It is believed that one of the mopeds was yellow and the other was a dark colour.
