A MAN in his 40s died in a crash involving a motorbike and a motor caravan in Berkeley on Friday.
The man - said to be local - was killed after sustaining serious injuries and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the crash between the Honda motorcycle and a white Peugeot Boxer motor caravan happened at around 2.30pm at the B4066 junction with Saniger Lane, towards Sharpness Docks.
His next of kin and the coroner have been informed.
Police closed the road whilst an investigation took place and are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
