Stevie was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2014, which came as a huge shock.

Over the last eight years she has been in and out of hospital appointments.

In 2018 she decided to have a full hysterectomy to give her the best chance at life.

This decision meant that she will not be able to have children.

Stevie was joined by a group of women, many of whom were cervical cancer survivors, who spent five days trekking and camping.

While she is now cancer free, Stevie still lives with side effects of the cancer which include fatigue and her bowel and bladder have been affected.

Stevie said that challenge was hands down the hardest thing she has ever done.

"Temperatures reached 40C one day and we were climbing up what felt like Goat Tracks on rocky mountains and scrambling down steep paths," she said.

"We had no electricity or running water for five days.

"I knew it would be hard physically with everything my body has been through over the last few years, but I had trained as much as I could and felt ready.

"There was absolutely no way we could have prepared for the heat or the rocky terrain though!

"I thought I was made of strong stuff mentally – little did I know that some days it takes every ounce of your being to simply move one foot in front of the other!

"I really pushed myself to my limit with an incredible group of people and am so thankful to everyone who supported me by donating, you really helped me get through this and failure was never an option.”

Love Island Amber Gill won the show in 2019.
