A POPULAR bakery and cafe has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Hobbs House Bakery in George Street, Nailsworth was given the maximum score after assessment on July 28, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
It means that of Stroud's 192 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 143 (74 per cent have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
Food hygiene ratings reflect the standards of hygiene found on the date of the inspection by the local authority.
It is not a guide to food quality.
